Dear Colleagues, 

On behalf of the organizing committee, I am honored and delighted to welcome you to the 1st International Arabic Cochlear Implant Conference (ACIC), to be held April 5 – 7, 2018 at the Grand HyattHOTEL , Dubai, UAE. The Conference is jointly organized by the GCC ORL societies, Advanced Arab Academy of Audiology (4A) and the Arab Academy of Otology and Cochlear Implant (AAOCI).

The theme of the 2018 Conference – “Together, hearing is better” emphasizes that the current efforts of our profession are to affirm that hearing is an essential component of human health with a significant impact on the physical, emotional, social and economic capital of all Arabic countries. It also highlights that the promotion of hearing health in the population requires the concerted action of many stakeholders, within the health sector as well as several others, including those in the social, education and welfare sectors.

Dubai is an exceptional location for the Congress. It has emerged not only as a global city but also as a conference host city of the Middle East activities renowned as one of the world’s most outstanding attractive cities,

The social program will highlight international cuisine, unique history, culture and arts, combined with a lot of attractions which will underscore the role of Dubai as one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations.

The ACIC will provide a wonderful forum for you to refresh your knowledge base and explore the innovations in hearing research.
